Aikido of Norfolk is a member of the United States Aikido Federation-Eastern Region. The Chief Instructor is Jim Baker, a Rokudan (Sixth Degree Black Belt) and Shidoin (Advanced Teaching Rank) with 40 years experience in teaching Aikido. The assistant instructors are Steve Nelson, Sandan and Eric Pierce, Nidan.

Just show up! You can sit and watch any class. There's no starting point, so you jump right in. If you are new to Aikido, we ask that you observe one class; we may not be your cup of cha.
